House update 9/16/2007

So one month until we move in. Hm mm. What do they have left?? The door handles, carpet, light fixtures and those type of things. That is about all. We are getting really excited. The driveway is in and inside of the house is starting to have that finished feeling. We should see the carpet and linoleum in by the end of the week.

We are going to see a second lender this week to see if we can get a NC housing loan with a fixed 30 year rated of 5.875. The lender is tied to the builder so we get $5000 is closing costs paid so we actually we be looking to get quite a bit of money back. We will keep you updated on this first time but always crazy process of closing on a house. Any comments from the veterans would be welcome :>)!!!
