Update on the path we are on

I can't believe it is been over a month now. We have felt that Jason should spend the next couple of months and study/pass the CPA tests. There are 4 of them. He has been very diligent about studying 5/6/7 hours a day. Then to add the homework from the 1 college course he is still taking.
How are we substantiating life? I wish I could say it was from all of our savings... but we still have been so blessed by Heavenly Father. The money we do have, I swear, keep having babies, just being so blessed from tithing!
Jason didn't have a fight and was able to get unemployment without a problem.
With unemployment you are to work some hours, so Jason already had a part-time 2nd job already, so he is able to work there once a week. I am still at the church bookstore on Saturdays, plus the tax return we are actually okay. I knew about free lunches for the kids at school so I went to apply. They are very serious about making sure the kids get food, because the next day my kids could get lunch. I also applied for medicaid for the kids and then learned of food stamps. Being a family of six we didn't make more then the amount they have and so they are giving us money once a month.
We really feel so blessed and taken care of. I know that God watches over us.
Jason has it all planned out on when he studies and then he test. If he passes them all the first time he will be done in Sept. This will be big in applying for jobs!
This winter has been very cold for NC and so spring has felt so good this last two weeks. There is something to be said having the celebration of Easter in spring too. How winter is like being in a trial and when it let's up into spring the rejoicing that comes. I love the celebration of Easter.

Sometimes it is those bumps in the road that make the ride worthwhile and our journey the more unforgettable and substantial. Just think of the family bonding time, the things you are teaching your children about being faithful and trusting in the Lord, you're learning how to better manage money and to be thankful for all the things you have. When we have that smooth ride, we forget how great it really is. Hang in there! We are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.

Hey Annalynn! I love your comment about your money having babies! I too have such a strong testimony of tithing. It is such a rich blessing and privilege, especially come tax time!!! :D

Sorry you are having a bumpy ride right now, but Jason has such a great head on his shoulders, and so do you. You are both so amazing!
